Varicocele

Varicocele

Varicocele is a condition in which the veins in the scrotum become enlarged  and swollen, like varicose veins in the legs. Varicocele occurs when the valves  in the veins do not function correctly, causing the blood to flow backward and  pool in the veins, resulting in swelling.

Symptoms of varicocele may include

Swelling or bulging of the scrotum

Pain or discomfort in the scrotum, especially after prolonged standing or physical activity

A feeling of heaviness in the scrotum

Testicular atrophy (shrinkage of the testicles)

Infertility

Few Reason Why You Should Choose Us

Varicocele treatment depends on the severity of the condition and whether the  individual is experiencing any symptoms or fertility problems. In many cases,  varicocele does not require treatment.

Surgery

A surgical procedure called varicocelectomy can be performed to tie off or remove the enlarged veins.

Embolization

A non-surgical procedure called embolization can be performed, which involves blocking off the veins using a small catheter.

Observation

If the individual does not experience any symptoms, regular monitoring may be recommended.

It is essential to speak to a doctor if experiencing symptoms of varicocele, as  the condition can cause infertility in some cases. Early diagnosis and treatment  can prevent complications and improve the individual’s quality of life
